In conjunction with Diving Services UK, based at Pinewood Studio's Underwater Stage, Geoff has worked on a number of significant motion picture projects as rebreather consultant to the production, instructor to cast members and a diving double.
Bringing rebreather technology to the big screen requires many of Geoff's skills in engineering and quick-thinking, under the pressure of an underwater film set. His additional background in professional UK diving aids compliance with the Health and Safety Executive codes of practice for media diving.
His most recent assignment was training and supervising Simon Pegg, diving a rebreather for a stunt in his role as Benji Dunn, an IMF technician and one of Ethan Hunt's [Tom Cruise] main team-mates, in the 2018 blockbuster Mission: Impossible Fallout.
Geoff is available to assist media projects in the UK with all their rebreather diving needs, including training, equipment hire and practical advice. He is also a RED Digital Cinema underwater owner/operator, capturing compelling visuals for high-end productions.
